I have some pictures to share but I don't know how to do that thing where you click on a link and the pictures show up... what's that called? Yeah, I don't know how to do that.
Here's a picture of our professionally decorated Christmas tree featuring Spider-man, Santa Claus and Steve Buscemi.

There he is.

Video games and books.

Eating at Panera.

We had some people over once.

This is a drawing of Rick Moranis that my friend drew with her left hand.

Yesterday Tiffany and I said to ourselves "We should totally just cave in and get our own internet". After that I began the pretty simple but slightly annoying process of becoming a legitimate internet consumer. And this morning we were greeted by a funny little man who hooked up our internet with a smile and refused any payment for his services, even though I'm pretty sure we were supposed to pay for installation.
I used my newly gained internetting abilities to download a Laura Stevenson Record from Quote Unquote Records as well as a Quote Unquote sampler. I also found out Andrew Jackson Jihad is releasing a cover of a Neutral Milk Hotel Song. I like AJJ and everyone else I know seems to like Neutral Milk Hotel, so I'm partially excited for myself and partially excited for everyone else I guess.
One of my goals would be to try to get back in touch with a lot of people now that I'm online again. I'll be singing on to aim more I think and checking livejournal and other community websites of which people I know are members.
In summary, San Francisco's pretty sweet... you should come hang out.
P.S. I miss Andrew, Brittan, Kevin, Andy, Kelly, Jack, Elliot and a whole fucking mess of other people. |

The Insurgent Me album, Sometimes It's Not What You Create That Gives You the Answer... But What You Destroy!, is done being mastered and produced. We received the finished master copy in the mail a couple days ago and I've listened to it three times. I'm pretty impressed with the sound quality, and, listening to the whole album all the way through, I'd say it flows pretty well. |

If things go well I'll be the proud new owner of a rare Bruce Lee Band LP. Not bad for ten bucks. I'm seeing Bomb the Music Industry! on my birthday. This will be like the third time that's happened I think. After that I'm recording in Gainesville with Big Time Record Producer Rob McGregor. Rock on. And I'll be spending spring break '08 in San Francisco. Oh yeah. |

Christmas is two days away and I've never felt more apathetic towards it.
I was a little starstruck when Paul Baribeau came into Jimmy John's today. He proclaimed it was his favorite restaurant and we engaged in a short conversation before he spent the next hour and a half eating and reading. The man makes pretty killer music, even if his extreme awkwardness does occasionally come off as rudeness.
In less than three weeks I'll be flying to California for a trip that's three years in the making. It'll only be a week long, but it will be one of the most momentous events in my life.
Merry Christmas, everybody. Hope you get everything you want. |
